- A-10 Thunderbolt II
Not much is known about the aircraft, only that it provides ground support to American soldiers fighting in Germany. The aircraft can be seen destroying a T-90 tank with its GAU-8 cannon.
- AC-130
The AC-130 returns in the French section in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's singleplayer mode. Unlike previous versions, the imaging camera no longer appears to be infrared.
- F-16 Falcon
The F-16 is shown in the reveal trailer in New York City. Infinity Ward used it for motion capture and image capture for both the F-15 Strike Eagles and the F-16 Falcon. Both were borrowed by the US Air Force (confirmed by the US Air Force and Infinity Ward).
- Reaper
The General Atomics MQ-9 "Reaper" is an unmanned aerial vehicle (Also named as a remote crontrolled UAV with a missile lock) to be featured in the up and coming game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The Reaper appears to be the successor to the Predator Missile drone from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
The Reaper has almost the exact same screen, deployment method, and firing system as the Predator Missile. The only visible difference between the two, is that the Reaper's camera is in color, while the Predator's camera was a thermal camera.
- Mi-24 Hind
The Mi-24 Hind appears in Modern Warfare 3 as the Mi-24 Hind D variant. It was first shown in the reveal trailer for the game. Used by the Russians in the New York City scene. Many of them appear in the mission "Black Tuesday", giving support to the enemy troops.
- UH-60 Blackhawk
The UH-60 Black Hawk is helicopter used by the U.S. Army and SAS seen in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
- Little Bird
The MH-6 Little Bird makes an appearance in Modern Warfare 3, seen in the reveal trailer. It is seen flying near Westminster Station in England.
- CH-46 Sea Knight
The CH-46 is seen in the mission Hunter Killer, where it extracts Delta Force and their Zodiac from the sea.
- Oscar II
The Oscar II is a class of Russian guided missile submarine due to be featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. In the trailer, at least one Oscar can be seen attacking the US Navy around New York City, as well as the city itself. It is seen in the mission Hunter Killer where Sgt. Derek "Frost" Westbrook and his squad take over one to use its cruise missiles against the Russian fleet.
- U.S.S Nimitz
The USS Nimitz is seen half sunk in the New York Harbor along with many other US and Russian cruisers and destroyers.
- Zodiac
It is used by Delta Force in Modern Warfare 3 when they had to escape the submarine after launching it's missiles in the mission Hunter Killer.
- BTR-80
The BTR-80 makes its return in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Not much else is known about the APC and was first shown in the reveal trailer for the game.
- Leopard 2
It appears briefly in the trailer, in Germany firing its 120mm main gun. Many may confuse this for the M1 Abrams, as they are both designed from the same program.
- Stryker
The Stryker returns in Modern Warfare 3. and can be seen escorting Delta Force through Wall Street in Black Tuesday.
- T-90
The T-90 appears for a few seconds in Germany, during the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 reveal trailer. It is seen briefly before being destroyed by an A-10 Thunderbolt.
- GAZ-2975
The GAZ-2975 is a Russian high-mobility, multipurpose military vehicle seen in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. It is seen in the reveal trailer shown in multiple screens in New York City and in Paris, France. The vehicle is used by the Russian military as a near equivalent to the American HMMWV.
